I used to like this guy and he was a real jerk about it, like ignoring me at school and avoiding meeting up with me outside school, etc. I met this new guy and I'd been dating him for two months and a half when just last week the guy I used to like started the conversation below with me. Do you think:

1. He likes me.
2. He's jealous that I ditched him.
3. He just wanted to clear the air.
4. He wanted to see if I've moved on.

Here's the conversation:

Guy: Hey, are we all right now?
Me (girl): Depends what you mean by "alright". And why do you care? We're not friends.
Guy: I just want to make sure your not pissed off at me.
Me: Nah, it's fine. That [I.e. When he was acting like a jerk 2 months ago] was ages ago.
Guy: OK good
Me: lol why did you suddenly bring that up now?
Guy: Cos it was a while ago so should still be awkward.
Me: What? [Confused because he said "should" and not "shouldn't"]
Guy: I'm saying it seems awkward, but it shouldn't be.
Me: We never really spoke anyway so why does it seem awkward?
Guy: Just does. If it doesn't for you then it's cool.
Me: It's fine seriously. It really doesn't matter anymore.

The guy has ignored me since and I have a boyfriend. The guy in the conversation is my ex-crush.

If you don't have anymore feelings for him and you have a new boyfriend anyway, why does it matter?

There's no need to read so much into it, unless you still have feelings for him?

Read over it a couple hundred times, totally over analyse every little bit of it and then tell us what you think :)

What do you make of this? Does my ex crush like me or did he just want to "clear the air"?
I have a boyfriend but I can't stop thinking about my ex crush. I hardly ever see my boyfriend but I see my ex crush all the time at school. We have no classes together... we had one last term but he moved after he realised I have a boyfriend and claimed it's because I'm "immature"... last week, just over two months into my relationship with my boyfriend my ex crush started a conversation with me.. he seemed worried that I haven't forgiven him for being a jerk towards me and that it's got really awkward between us. Yesterday a guy friend said "oy, [ex-crush's name], [my name) says hi". My ex crush looked at me and smiled. Then later on, after school, I asked him if he's ok (on facebook) and he just said "yep" 4 minutes later. Today he just totally avoided all eye contact with me and wouldn't even stay in the same area as me. What's up with him?

Nothing is up with him, its you and your crush that has you reading too much into this. You have a boyfriend so he is going to keep a respectful distance. That's what he is supposed to do right, respect your having a boyfriend.
