I have a friend who is on parole in New Jersey from a transfer from Upstate New York. He was sentenced to two years post release parole and two years jail time. With 5 months remaining on parole he was recently charged/accused of domestic violence and harassment
What penalties is he facing ? Please advice

He's probably on probation - not parole. Therefore, he CAN be sentenced to the whole two years... It doesn't matter HOW much time he had left.
