    Rules Wisconsin probation officers have to follow?
    My girlfriend is in jail rite now waiting to hear from her po officer, does he have a time limit in which he has to see her?

    No, why is she in jail, was she on probation and violated it ? If so, she may be held till she goes in front of the judge, that can be a few days or a few weeks.

    The po has a certain amount days in which he has to file a charge or let her go, but I think it varies from state to state.

    The PO does not file a charge, in fact many things they are locked up for (violations) are not even crimes, being with someone else on probation, breaking a curfew. They merely revoke the probation, and then they have a hearing before the judge
