I am trying to figure out what breed my puppy Bella is. She is now 10-11 weeks old, the shelter said she was a "shepherd mix". She doesn't look like any of the german shepherd puppies I have seen, but I know there are many types of shepherd. Also, I've been told her face looks like it may have boxer or pit bull look to it. Google "Malinois Puppies" that may help you out...

Sometimes its very hard to breed ID mixed breed puppies. A female can be bred to several males and a puppy can be born with several biological fathers. Unless you know that the mother was bred to the father and no one else.. its nothing but a guessing game.

If you are that concerned or want to know what makes your pup tick, I would suggest a DNA test. They are relatively cheap and said to be very accurate.

My guess.. Definitely has shepherd-type dog in the mixture.. Adorable little guy though!

Lucky is dead on accurate. Just want to say that no matter what breed, she's adorable. I definitely see the shepherd in her, but other breeds would just be a guess.

She is SO cute. It's justa guess but I see some mastif in there. My best guess would be a shepherd mastif mix. I definitely see shepher in that mix. Congrats, she's gorgeous!

Congratulations on having a really beatifull dog she is so adorable she definitely has shepherd in her I see a bit of beagle and a bit of mastiff.do u know the breeder? What breed was the mother did u get her from a puppy?mixed breed dogs can have up to about 5 different breeds of dog in them and sometimes it is impossible to tell was her mother a mixed breed? You got a real winner there. I have 2 dogs that look very, very similar, one is a Plott Hound. I had the DNA testing done at a tune of $165 and it said not one drop of Plott blood in the newest addition to our home. DNA says she is Terrier/Malamute, nothing like a Plott
