Just installed a new foot valve on 60 ft well; primed jet pump & water flow is good. But jet pump will not shut off; builds up to 23 psi. Any suggestions?

=Shut the pump off at the breaker box and check the gage. Does t hold steady or does it fall to zero? Let me know, Tom
