I've been living with a guy that I met on the internet for almost 5 years. I don't think he is gay, but I don't know what the heck it would be called, if anything, but here's a run down on why I'm questioning his sexuality: He wears women's thong underwear, has several pairs of women's leggins (which he calls "bicycle pants"), wears women's panty hose (for the circulation in his legs, he says), paints his toe nails (red usually, but first claimed it was because they were yellowed, when I told him polish turns them yellow, he then started saying they had cracked), we have not had sex in about 4 years, I've checked his online history and found he visits some sites with pictures of naked women, I've never found any kind of gay site or porn, just the naked women, last week he walked past me in his "bicycle pants" and my mouth dropped open, I pointed directly at his crotch and asked where it was. Normally he has his business right out there for the world to see, but this day there was absolutely nothing, I have more of a mound in that area than he showed! He kind of scratched and said it's there, I said no it isn't, then he took off towards the washing machine to start it (actually it was to avoid me). When he came back, his shirt was untucked and covering him down to his butt, then he changed into some jean shorts right after. Also last weekend, he'd just got back from working out of town, in his duffel bag I noticed a bag of women's maxi pads! I asked what they were for and he said for me. I do not use pads and he knows that. Can someone please help me and give me any ideas? I'm not going to be living here much longer, but I would like to know. Thanks!

Yes I agree with the major problems issue. I forgot to state earlier that he also shaves his entire body, and I have also stated to a friend that it seems to me he's trying to be a woman. I'm hoping to be moved out soon, this is just too weird for me. Thanks for your reply.

I agree. And that would make him a transsexual and not a transvestite. When was the last time you saw him naked? I seriously think he is in the process of becoming a woman. Does he take medication/hormones?

I'm glad for you that you have decided to move on. Sounds like he is going through some major life changes, maybe something he has been planning for some time.

He's very open about being naked, even a girlfriend came to the open door and he was standing inside undressed and didn't even try covering up. I try to avoid seeing him naked, but I guess its been within the last couple of months. To the best of my knowledge he doesn't take anything other than vitamins, and a friend told me his brother had told her several years ago that he had a gay brother, which would be the one I'm talking about. His brother isn't known for being very honest, and I really don't think he is gay, but all this just seems to have started to get way too weird lately. Thanks for your input, its muchly appreciated!

Please do not take it as me joking around. There have been women who dress and live as men and hide it very well. Seen it on some talk shows before.

That alone would be a problem if I was in your shoes.

So, you took a while to wake up to it all, that's OK, you know now.

Sounds like he is/trying to be a woman, best advice is for you to leave since you do not seem happy.

Again, I think you're right. He doesn't sound gay. Transsexual, transvestite, and homosexual are all very different aspects of types of sexual preferences.

I believe you are dealing with a male who wants to be females - just one of the girls - hence not being concerned about standing naked when your friend came to the door.

No harm to him - everyone to their own and whatever gets you through the night so long as you are not deliberately hurting yourself or anyone else in the process.

But you don't sound like you could handle this. Time for some life changes of your own, I think - move on. But don't blame him, I don't believe this is a choice one makes.

The body hair shaving is not weird... tucking in his "package" is. If he likes thongs there are mens versions easy to find so why the women's undies? The fact you live together and he isn't banging it for 4 years is aweful strange.

Like some people have hinted to, you are sure he actually has a penis and isn't a butch woman playing a man? Aren't you. In any case there is a lot of very odd stuff going on here.

Just to let you know... Most crosdressers are straight. But who knows maybe he just wants to be a chick.
