How can I fix my hair after I have bleached and dyed it?
I am a natural dirty blonde and I recently dyed my hair a medium reddish brown. I wanted to go lighter so I can go closer to my natural but every time I tried to go lighter, it wouldn't look any different. So I bleached it to try and have a light foundation but all it did was make it look orange and I added an ash blonde to to try and counter it but it still looked orange. My roots are dark so I wanted to go to a light brown so I could let my hair just grow out but it turned a nasty, dirty brown-green. I put a darker brown to try and make the green go away and it just looked worse. Not to mention I missed a huge spot on the back of my head that is still blonde. I put liquid detergent in my hair to wash out the color. Is there any way to try and fix this myself or should I just go to a salon and have them strip it and put the right color in it?
