    Septoplasty
Someone please help me... I am this close to giving up on life...

I had a septoplasty done 4 years back.. and to this day I experience pain and the swelling has not gone... after the surgery never once has my nose been pain free.

Every time I strain.. the pain and swelling exacerbate.
Even while talking I feel the nose bone sort of twitching.. moving..

    Please help me.. please.
I have an MRI report if you want I can reply with it.

Robert, what doctors have you consulted about this? Sending us the MRI report will not do any good at all. We don't diagnose here, but can probably help you make some sense out of your four year ordeal. During the last four years have you ever gone back to the plastic surgeon who performed the procedure? Please relate more information.

Mr tickle.. first of all thanks a lot for the promt reply
I have consulted 3 Otolaryngologists on this.
One said he sees nothing wrong... other said my surgery was incomplete and I require another surgery.. and the third just gave me medications.. meganeuron etc

I have not gone back to the surgeon who performed the procedure because I am really very terrified with the result of his las operation on me.

I had an MRI NCCT PNS done 2 months back which states:

Nodular mucosal thickening coupled with secretions,Left maxillary sinus, hypertrophied right inferior turbinate.Right maxillary sinus is unremarkable. Marginal bowing of posterior nasal septum towards Right.
Marginal bowing of posterior nasal septum towards right
    Bilateral osteomeatal units are patent
    Bilateral ethmoidal sinus normal
Bilateral lamina papyracea and ribiform plate intact

MRI indicates, to me, that nothing out of ordinary happened, but notwithstanding your reluctance to go back to the plastic surgeon who performed the surgery, I think you should if this has been going on for four years.
