    Toilet backflowing into shower
My toilet is loose. Coincidentally, toilet water started backing up into my shower - can the toilet being loose cause this?

No, This is a separate problem. You have a blockage in the drain line. First snug up the closet bolts and secure that bowl and then snake the drain from the lavatory roof vent. I f you don't wish to snake from the roof the toilet will have to nbe pulled and snaked from there. Good luck, Tom
