    Hello, I receive a NOTICE OF INVOLUNTARY LIEN by the ASSESOR-RECORDER-COUNTY. They say the lien my be against my real property, what should I do, my situation is as follows I was thinking file a bankruptcy, because I haven't pay my house my credit card's due to low income we have a babe and my wife stop working and I also loss job, and I was try to get the loan modification, finally I'm on the trial for the loan modification I start paying the first month trial on 2/1/2012 and I have 2 more payments to go for the trial, and I don't if a file for bankruptcy right now will affect my loan modification. The amount I own to this company is for $1584.65. Can they do something against me or my personal things.

    For a lien to be filed, they must have gotten a judgment. So there is little you can do. The time to do something was before they got the judgment.

    I would concentrate on getting your house loan in order then deal with the other
