I recently filed tax return, through E-File and got accepted also, however I think I have made several mistakes and would like to resubmit with changes, is it possible?

No, you cannot just resubmit.
You would need to amend your return. Use form 1040X and attach all forms that change. You will have to file by regular mail.
Also, if you are getting a refund from your original return, you should wait to receive the money.

Wait for at least 6 weeks. Then file amended tax return Form 1040X
