If I had a job I worked for a small period and my wages come up to $1551.51 do I have to file that on my taxes of can I leave that off?

Yes, you need to file. Did they send you a W-2 or a 1099?

Are you asking whether you have to declare this income (combined with other income) or if you have to file tax returns?

If this was your only income then you are not required to file, as this amount of income is less than the minimum for mandatory filing. But if you do file then you must report all income for which you receive a W2 or 1099.

Also note - even if you aren't requird to file you may still want to in order to get a refund of the taxes withheld.
