I am currently 7 weeks pp, I got my first period 3 weeks pp I know because there was a week gap between bleeding. At the start of last week I got a few hours of spotting and then nothing. I was due for my period at the start of this week and am still waiting. I have had pms symptoms plus some others. I also stopped breast feeding days after spotting due to my baby refusing the breast. I have been having sex using condoms. Should I be worried that I have not got my period?

Postpartum bleeding does not always follow a strict schedule, so it is possible that the bleeding you had 3 weeks after birth was just a continuation after a pause and not necessarily a period. It is not common to have a period return at 3 weeks postpartum, especially if you were breastfeeding at the time.

I wouldn't be too concerned at this point. See what happens over the next several weeks. On a side note, if you were interested in continuing with breastfeeding, seek out a lactation counselor or consultant in your area.

My milk has dried up now. I took two pregnancy tests and got a positive then a negative. Not sure if I'm pregnant again..
