Does anybody know how I can exchange the light buld of the automatic shifter on a 2006 avensis?
I can lift the top plate cover but then its hard for me what to do! Need some help here please. I don't want to disassemble the whole shifter.

Removing interior triim to access bulbs and such can be tricky. You may need to remove things that seem unrelated to where you're going but that's the way they build them. Just pry and pull gently and you should be able to remove the components in your way.
Be advised: you'll likely find some parts snap into place and others are fastened with screws, etc.
