    Statute of limitation for possession of stolen property
    I live in Calgary and I was pulled over one day the cop didn't give any ticket but he told me that I had a warrant for possession of stolen property in Ontario . I just want to know what the statute of limitation for Ontario.

    There is NO statute of limitations on a warrant..

    SOL refers to the in which legal action must be started. For a warrant to be issued it means legal action WAS started so the SOL no longer applies. The Warrant doesn't expire.
