Help: lan, router, modem, server and clients
I have a Wi-max router, a USB modem, 2 switches(one a 24-port switch, the other an 8-port switch), six client PCs and a server(actually another PC as the server).
Before purchasing the router, I routed all internet connection through the server(that is while using the USB modem). Things were easy and uncomplicated, THEN.
But now things have gotten complicated:
Whenever I'm using the router, I have to use the wall clock rather than using my café billing software because I have to look up the time manually.
My client PCs can access the internet it's just that I can't get my trial version of CyberKlock cafe-billing software to work whenever I'm using the router.
Please help because it's driving me nuts.

Where is your billing software running? There may be settings in your Cyberklock software that allow you to specify the IP Address ranges of the hosts you want to gather billing information on. The addition of the router has created 2 networks (1 facing your ISP, 1 facing your hosts). I am going to assume your router is dynamically allocating addresses to both your wired and wireless hosts, review that IP address allocation and see if your billing software can be modified to monitor that pool of addresses.
