My last period was on the 9th of Jan the next one is due around the 5th of Feb. I'm wondering is a pregnancy test able to detect if I'm pregnant?

See what happens when your period is due. If it doesn't show on the 5th as expected, give it another week. It is not unusual for periods to be off a bit now and then. If still no period, try a pregnancy test at that time.
