Okay I filed income tax for the first time Jan. 16 and its electronically. It's been saying we have received your refund and is being processed if you don't owe taxes if if tete isn't a delay you should receive your refund Feb 7th . Is this normal? My family goes to the same person we all filed the same time abd they got theirs last week. :(

The IRS has been having issues with their new system of issuing tax refunds, so some of the refunds have been delayed.

Hopefully, you WILL get it on February 7th as promised, but do NOT spend the money until you see that it has been deposited in your bank account.
