Federal Wages less than total state wages
I have received two W2 as I have worked in NJ and OH. When I add the state wage of NJ & OH, it is approx 10% higher than total Fed wages listed in Box1. Is it possible? Or do I need to report to my employer to get it corrcted? Please suggest.

Oh, yes, it is VERY possible, because New Jersey does NOT allow certain pension or salary reduction plans to be deducted from their state wages, which results in a HIGHER NJ wage than the federal wage in Box #1 of the Form w-2.
