My casablanca ceiling fan (Panama II) with intellitouch controls now has a problem when I turn on the lights only. Without the fan on, the lights flicker and one of the 4 bulbs does not light. If I then turn on the fan, the lights are good, but I cannot control the fan speed; it remains on hi. One piece of advice is to replace the RMM controller... that's a bit pricey at $134 if I am not sure that is the problem. Any other suggestions besides troubleshoot by remove/replace electronic assemblies?

One quick test to eliminate if it is the switch, with the power on depress the light and fan switch at the same time, if you get 4 audio tones followed with a click the switch is probably OK.
