What if my ex calls me a liar at the hearing for a restraining order?
I was involved with the father of my children for over ten years. He was verbaly and emotionaly abusive, controlling and is a cumpulsive liar. He has a great knack for making himself appear good, and like he is not in the wrong. I am worried about the hearing for the restraining order I filed because I know he will call me a liar and have some excuse for everything. He I'm sure will also lie about me and try to make me look as bad as possible. What should I do to prepare myself for this? Will the judge see through his load of bs? I know they see it all the time. I'm scared to death ill freeze and not know what to say or be nervous and get the facts wrong about his continuing abuse. Any advice would be so great! Thanks!

Just be sure to bring the facts along with you so you can prove your claim. If you can't prove your claim then you won't get a restraining order.

What happened to caus the temporary restraining order to be generated ?
