Water pump not working in house?
We have fuses in our house. One of our fuses blew last night, so we took the good fuse from somewhere else and put it in where the fuse had blown. We need know what that fuse was for. This morning I realized I had no washer. I bought a new fuse and put it in. I had water also. Two or three hours later I had no water. If that fuse was for the pump, could that have made my water pump stop working. Do I need to do something to get it going again since it had no power or will it build up again on it's own?

You might need to reset your pressure switch. It's a little grey electrical box that should be near your pressure tank. If it has a lever on the side, then push that to reset the switch.

Sure sounds like you blew a pump fuse and NO it won't "build up again on its own. The reason the fuse blew was because the pump called for too many amps. This could be shorted coils in the motor. In any respects you're going to have to have it checked out. You my be looking at a new pump or pump motor. Let me know what they find. Good luck, Tom
