I was told in march last year that I had pcos and was put on birth control to regulate my period cycle. My doctor never did any ultrasounds just continued refilling my prescription for my birth control and I've been getting my periods every month since. I just had a follow up for pcos with my doctor a couple days ago and she felt around and told me that everything looked and feels fine and that she doesn't need to see me again unless I need to see her. I don't like taking the birth control and want to stop but my doc said that I should so my period doesn't go off track. Is it okay for me to stop and see I my periods will be normal without the birth control?
