2 years have passed since I lost him. I still miss him. :(
I lost my dad 3 years back, I too still painfully miss him.
But that has not stopped me from not living my life fully, it is good to miss your loved ones who passed away, and the best way to keep them alive in our hearts is too remember them in the small things that we do in life and in the times of happiness to pray for their souls.
Do miss him, but do not be depressed by it.
My husband has been dead four years. My life has moved on, and I am happy.
I still have days when I think of him a lot. I still, believe it or not, miss him. I was shopping in a local Mall and saw a very tall man with silver hair and he looked so much like my husband that I quickly stepped ahead and turned around to look at him.
Grief has no timeframe, no guidelines. It does get better.
The fact I have learned is that things will never be the same - they can be good, but they are never the same.
Time is the only thing that helps.
