Can you be bonded to be a locksmith with a felony
Yes, there is even a special program that the federal government has for bonding.
The trouble with this is that the cost of bonding for a felon ( after the federal program ends) will be higher and not all insurance companys will do felons. So many companies will not spend the extra money to bond a felon.
The other issue is that in some areas, a locksmith has to be licensed, and there may be issues there. In California there is a background check, In VA no one with a Class a felony can be a locksmith. GA has no license requirement , and so on every state has its own rules
