Can I enter the us on a conditional discharge?
Will the person need a pardon and waiver to cross the US border ( lives in Ontario Canada ) - for a pleaded guilty to one count of assault, for which the person received a conditional discharge, which was accompanied by 12 months of probation. This happened in 2006. If the person needs a waiver, can that person go to a "court house" instead of doing this over the internet?
Thank you in advance for your answer.

Hey man, I have a similar question to ask.. Although I will make my thorough research this week and let you know what I found. On my case, I hope the border could evaluate the discharge cases (absolute or conditional) on their gravity, to distinguish it from a conviction and a record. I pleaded guilty to a stupid case that even the judge game me some probation since he knew it was an isolated incident but I pretty much was honest about it since it was my first ever offence. It counts as a conditional discharge since the only thing I needed to do was to not disturb the peace, which I'm smart enough not to.
I need to go for a family matter and business matter (since I just started a young and successful company after I finished my undergrad). I'll keep you posted and let me know if you find anything.
