I need help telling my mom I cut myself. Its gotton really bad, but I'm afraid that it will hurt her too much. I know that it will hurt her more the longer I wait, but I can't seem to tell her.I have written a letter telling how I feel, I was OK about giving it to her but now I think I need a different way. Please help

You NEED to tell your mom ASAP! If you accidentally cut too deep once you can kill yourself! That will hurt her more than anything! Why are you cutting anyway?

If you are as worried as you sound, perhaps you could talk with a school counselor and see if they could set up a meeting to discuss this and your options with you and your Mom. The school counselor is obliged to keep anything you say between you and your Mom so it is not like anyone can find out about anything unless you want them to know, OK?

The counselor is there to help you guys. Please take advantage of his/her years and years of experience... you will not be the first cutter he/she has helped... I promise!
