I had sex with this girl about 2 months ago. She's claiming that she got pregnant and that it was mine. She had an abortion a few days ago. The day after the procedure she told me that it was 800 and I had to pay all of it or she was going to bring me to court and tell them I rapped her. Which couldn't be further from the truth! I told her I would gladly pay for half if she showed me proof of conception and a receipt from the procedure. Then she told me it was 400 and if I didn't give her the money in one week from today then we have a court date in 9 days from today. I haven't received anything from the court or a lawyer. Is what she saying possible? And, if we do go to court and she claims she was rapped and I have proof that she's lying, would I still be responsible to pay for the procedure?

Sounds like a shakedown to me. I would go to the police and report it as extortion.

Rape is a crime, she doesn't take you to court for rape she reports it to the police. By reporting her threats you inhibit her ability to charge you.

If she does take you to court, she will have to prove the pregnancy, your paternity and the abortion.

I agree, it sounds like she is trying to black mail you. First there is no way she would have a court date in 9 days, not humanly possible to get to court for anything that fast.

Threatening to file a police report if you don't pay money ( even if the rape was real) is still a crime.

Sounds like she is a crook and may do this all the time.
Doubt there was any abortion, I would call the cops on her, but for sure not pay without a receipt that she paid
