    Loss of water pressure
I will turn on the kitchen faucet and it will have very low water pressure. If I slowly turn it on, the faucet will maintain adequate water pressure, and only when I slowly turn it on. Otherwise normal use of the faucet is no good with very low pressure.

What's the brand name of your faucet? One handle or two knobs? How old? Back to you, Tom

Your pressure is likely great but it sounds like your volume is being choked off. If it has cartridges I'd start there by removing and cleaning or replacing them. No cartridge, then valve stem washer is in need of tightening or replacing. This is a guess since we do not know the model yet, let us know if you can supply that or a picture.
