I have Water coming out of the shower head when I turn on the water without pushing the knob from the tub spout up? Any solutions

"pushing the knob " do you mean you normally pull it up? Is the knob actually already stuck in the up position or can you still pull it like before but the water is already coming out the shower head before you pull it?

The knob is not stuck in the up position. I need to pull it up before the water comes out from the shower head. However, as soon as I turn the handle, water comes from the tub sprout and showerhead while the knob is down. Any ideas?

If the problem just started and was OK before then it sonuds that you have a bad tub spout needs to be replaced they are cheap and easy to change, good luck,
