Have dish in motor home had to have a new signal sent to receiver to watch sat. Now cannot watch our movies on dvd.

Your DVD player is separate from your satellite. Make sure your TV is on the correct input.

To help you further I would need to know make and model of your TV and how your DVD player is connected to your TV.
