    New Bump on Penis
    Hello all,
    I am a 16 year old male.

For as long as I could remember, I have had many small bumps on my bottom of my penis shaft, around the area where I have a lot of hairs so I have heard it is probably related to that and I am not worried about those.

Yet lately, I have noticed the appearance of one larger bump which I am a little worried about, it is also on the bottom shaft of my penis. I do not know if it is completely new or if it is just one of the others that got bigger, but based off it's location I think it is new.

It is about 3mm in diameter.
It is red around the base of the bump, and a mixture of red and white on the actual bump.
It is on the skin of the penis shaft (it lifts when I lift my skin a little), not under it.
There is a whole in the middle of it where it sinks in a little.

I have started masturbating a lot more lately and I first noticed it's appearance after I started masturbating more so I think it might be related to that but I'm not sure what that means or what it could be.

Please tell me what it is and what I could do about it, if possible I would rather not tell my parents/doctor because that would be embarrassing but if I need to in order to not prevent serious sickness I will so please let me know what it is and what I should do.

    Thanks

For a start, I would stop masturbating for about a week, and if it goes away, it may well be a friction burn . If, however, this does not occur, seeing a doctor would be advisable. You didn't mention anything, but if you are sexually active, it may be an STI. But, whatever happens, don't get worked about it: approach the problem head-on and logically.

I have never had sexual activity so I know it is not an STI
