My 9 month beagle, Molly, won't eat her food. She tries to eat the cats' food, and she'll eat some of it if I put it into one of the cat's bowls. Once she figures out its her dog food, she'll stop and come bug me for something else. We don't give her table scraps or a lot of treats, but she still won't touch her food. What do I do?

Dogs love cat food.. Its high in protein so I'm sure it tastes like jerky.

Continue to feed your dog his dog food. Continue to feed at your scheduled times.. Healthy dogs will not starve themselves.. He's just holding out for the good stuff..

Try and keep the cat food away as best as possible. Cat food isn't good for dogs because of all the protiens in it.

To entice your dog to eat his food, heat it up. The heat will release the oils in the food and make it smell better. You can also add a tablespoon of canned food to help your dog want to eat his food. If you continue to do yummy things to his food, he'll start to forget about the cat food and continue to eat his food.
