My period is a week away and I have had brown discharge for a little over a week now. It's not flowing but just about every time I go to the bathroom. I am on birth control. This has never happened to me before.also the discarge can kind of look a little stringyish sometimes. I don't have cramps or anything either.

How old are that is main ting. This happen to me when I was arounf 34 and I got on manopause at 37 . Birth control was failing and I was on early premanopause.
