My x girlfriend has left the state of Maryland and left 3 kids behind at her parents house one if which is mine.I plan on going to court house first thing Monday morning. My x plans on coming back in state in 2 weeks to take the kids and run 20 hrs away to Oklahoma any advise or planing would be great

Do you have legal custody for the child? If you do, you can can go pick up your child. If her parents try to stop you, you call the police and show them that you are the child's legal father.

But it would be better if you can get a court order enjoining her from moving the child first.

We have never been to court.

Well that was your first mistake. Are you on the birth certificate at least, or signed an acknowledgement of paternity?

If not, then you may have no legal standing to obtain an emergency order. In that case, I hope you have an attorney.
