    First Dentist Visit
I have several cavities in my mouth and my top two wisdom teeth are broken (almost half of each of them is completely gone). Up until yesterday, nothing has bothered me as far as having pain. I was chewing a piece of gum yesterday and bit my cheek really hard - now the wisdom tooth on that side is very sensitive when I eat and so is another tooth on that side (one with an assumed cavity in it). It even hurts when I drink and breathe air in by the tooth. Anyway, I have a dentist appointment tomorrow and was wondering what kind of work she will be able to do during my first visit. I haven't been to this dentist before, or any dentist in years. I'm assuming tomorrow will just be a checkup and I will have to schedule later appointments to actually get work done but is there any work that she might possibly do tomorrow? Thanks!

Will just depend on the dentist, many require a good cleaning and exrays on one visit before they actually do the work, If the tooth is in serious condition, they may work on it while you are there.
