Am 4 weeks pregnant. I have been having mild cervix pain and abdominal pain throughout the day, however I just had a sharp pain that seemed like it went from my cervix an shot up to my abdomen. Has anyone experienced this? Am extremely worried

Does not sound good, please go to your nearest ER and have them check you out. No need to sit around and worry

Congrats on your pregnancy! There can be some sharp pains, often quick to come and go. Were you doing anything when you experienced it? Had you just gotten up or moved about? Often it is caused by the ligaments stretching.

Some women also feel some mild cramping; many times stating that it feels as though their period is about to start.

It usually is not a concern unless you have more severe cramping and/or red bleeding. Is it constant or comes and goes? Certainly if this causes you concern, give your doctor or midwife a call.

On my period but this month has been mild. I was just sitting down when it happened, it lasted maybe 10-15 seconds. I keep getting dull twinges down there but so far that's it. My abdomen keeps feeling like someone is pulling it though, thanks for your help
