We have a habor breeze ceiling fan that was left in the house we purchased. The problem is it had a remote but previous owner took it. All we control is the fan from the wall switch but not the lights. We have it on 12 ft celings. I tried to look up remote for it but I need the model # from remote? Any suggestions?

One way or another you will need to get up there on a ladder since the remote receiver is inside the canopy.
