It is possible that the sharp pain and spotting are due to the recent sex. However, since you have been having unprotected sex for a few weeks, pregnancy would be a possibility.

See what happens when your period is due. If need be, give it several extra days in case it is late. If no period, then try a pregnancy test. Make sure you follow the directions carefully on the test.

I took a test on the 6th it was negative, now my husband thinks we might have had a little too rough sex. I actually had pretty painful lower abdominal pains. I am pretty worried now..
