Are you allowed to post information about a case on the web?
Are you allowed to post information about someone's case on the web before the case has went to court? Is there a law for that? Is it breaking the law? Or does it matter if you don't specifically say the names of the person going to court just the details of the case?

    Hello w:

Nope, there isn't.. Tell us about it, and ask your questions. You could even say the name, although I wouldn't.. There's NOTHING illegal about telling us about it.. Really.

If the information is publicly available there is nothing legal that can prevent it. Unless you are on the jury hearing the case.

However, you can't post anything that is untrue.

What is prompting this question? If we know what's behind it we can advise further.
