I am 9 days late for my period, home test I took said negative, I did take a "day after pill" the day it happened (condom broke) and that was about 3 weeks ago or so... I am wondering if there is a possibility that I am pregnant even though home tests said negative...

I've taken plan b twice and it worked both times but my periods were messed up for a couple months. Nothing to worry about.

Yes there is a possibility you are pregnant. The hormone your body releases when your pregnant is HCG, that hormone is what a pregnancy test detects to know if your pregnant. Some women do not produce enough to allow the test to detect it. You really need to get a blood test done to make sure your not/are pregnant.

Many times when condoms fail, it is not as easy to see, so remember condom failure rate is about 10 percent, so if you have regular sex use condoms plus another birth control system.

Plan B will have your cycle off for a couple months, so you may not even have one this month, or it may be a couple weeks late.

But yes, false NEG readings are also common with home pregnancy test.
