Kingston electric stove squeeking after being on for about 15 minutes why is this?
There is no way to turn the fake fire off lol just 2 heat settings low and high and after being on either setting for about 10-15 minutes it just starts squeaking like crazy and if I leave it on while its doing so it just gets louder... Any suggestions as to what the heck is wrong with this thing.. Thanks

If you can give the exact model number, perhaps we can help better, but I think there is a fan or something designed to spin inside that needs lubrication.

Do you have the owners manual?

If it is the fake fire log, there is a rotating spindle that has whiskers on it to make the fire look real. The tube rotates on an aluminum angle. If you remove the back you can get access and put some oil on the bearing surface.

Thank you for responding I will have my husband get the manual and try what you said I'm not sure where it is but I know we have it somewhere :) Will also let you know if he ends up fixing the problem with your suggestions or not :) If not I will post the model #.

    Again thank you both
