    Stringer, here's a thought, your Mormom buddies in the US have lots of theories about people from the middle east navigating themselves about and Tor Hyerdahl proved a voyage to the americas possible however the Indian Ocean and the Pacific coast of Australia are both dangerous places for small craft

    Recently there have been some interesting discoveries here particularly on the east coast areas that have scientists leaning toward Europeans that came here via ocean travel or across the frozen glaciers during the last mini ice age. Before this as you may know it was thought that all came from Asia over the ice bridge and openings in the ice to North America.

    Interesting, I am going to research further about the Egyptians / Australia information.

    Yes some of the ancient civilisations got about more than we care to think, remember the fabled Ophir of the Bible, somewhere in Africa or maybe not
