    Carrier furnace flame rollout switch?
I have the 58MCA080 carrier furnace. I have the same #33 error code " Limit or Flame switch is Open". I have
Flame but no air blowing, the blower is not spinning. I called a furncae guy and he told me since the blower was NOT operating the blower motor is probably bad. He believed the burner assembly may not be vented correctly. I replaced the motor, but the blower is still not operating.
    Could the capacitor be bad?
    How do I check this?

Anytime you replace a blower motor 99% of the time you should replace the capicitor,, the side of the motor is a lable that states the capicitor size needed for motor, probably the old capacitor is wrong for new motor

Who ever sold you the new motor should have made you aware of the need for new capictor.

With this said after you do the cap exchange, you might still have a blower prob. See what happens

You can check your control board as well as the capacitor. Turn your thermostat to fan on mode. If your fan comes on you cap is probably good. Your fan should have three or four speeds. Take one of your spares and plug it into your heat side of control board. If it still doesn't come on, it is a bad control board.
