Have two bathrms which are back to back.I run water in the tub,then go to the other bathrm and have water coming from the tiolet seal,which is now all over the floor.How do I fix that?

Have a plumber come out and snake out your drains. It sounds like a normal clog in the drainage pipes.

That and replace your wax ring under that toilet.

Josph, You have a blockage that must be cleared.
This can be addressed from one of two locations.
1. You can pull the toilet and snake from there **OR**
2, You can snake from the tub drain, (see image) This way is easier and less messy.
Unscrew and remove the overflow plate,(The one with the drain lever) and pull out the tub stopper. You now have a clear shot at the trap. The way you were going in through the drain it ran you square into a tee that you can't get around. Now feed the cable( 1/4" best or 3/3" with a small tip. You can rent a Ridgid K50 sink cable.) About 2' down you will run into the bend of the trap. Crank and push at the same time to work around it. Your blockage will be found in the lateral pipe going to the stack. You shouldn't have to put out more then 10 or 12 feet. I have found tub and shower clogs to be mostly hair and the worm should auger into it and pull it back. After you snake pour a few pans of boiling water down the drain. This will loosen the grease and flush the mess out into the main. Hope this helps and thank you for rating my reply. TOM

Here is the way I see it. I try to base the response on the question. If a person (op) seems to have skills for a repair then I will recommend the repair and how. If the op seems a bit lost and doesn't seem to have the skills to attempt it on their own then I answer in a more broader way including calling a professional in.

One more time. This is a page that helps do it yourselfers. I don't know theP'd skill level and nether do you. Life would be a lot simpler if all we had to do is tell the Op how tom, use the yellow pages. Sadly it's not. On The Plumbing Page we don't suggest calling expensive outside help unless we see it's going to be a major undertaking. Snaking a drain isn't a big deal and if we can save the OP some $ that's our function. Regards, Tom
