This was a low-budget B&W film that was shot in the San Fernando Valley. A daytime chase scene takes place on the 101 (Ventura) freeway in Sherman Oaks (the section between Van Nuys and North Hollywood). They filmed it just before the freeway was opened, which would have been 1959/1960. If you know the title, pass it along. Thanks.
