Movie from late 50's or 60's, set in Europe. Married woman alone while husband is away meets young soldier. They have an affair. They have a fight one night, she believes he is dead and dumps him on a hillside. Sometime later she drives her convertible by where she dumped him and accidentally drops her scarf, as a ruse to see if his body is still there; it's not.

... Her husband returns. Later the police show up at her residence questioning her (they saw her at the scene) with the police is the young soldier, alive but apparently can't remember anything.
