I just had a pap smear after not having one for awhile, and it came back with ASCUS checked, negative for HPV. I have to go back in in 6 months for a follow-up pap, I'm 33, no prior health problems, not sexually active, just diagnosed with diabetes (dont think that could be related though) My question is, because I like to be prepared, what could this abnormal pap smear be caused from? Besides a normal infection that could go away.
