I would like to install a sink near the sewage lift sump. Can I:A)tap into the vent stack for the sewage sump? B) Tap into the cover of the sewage container? What other options are available?

Sorry to say but Sewer Ejector vent cannot be combined with any other vent. Also, you cannot top into Sewer Ejector lid. You have to find some other way of running this new vent or consider installing Air Admittance Vent. Back to you. Milo

I'm not using this as a vent. I would like to tap into the pipe with the sewer line from the sink.The p trap would act as a seal from any venting going on in the main sewer ejector vent.
There is a floor drain emptying into the sump, and I believe that uses a trap to seal the system.

Sorry, my misunderstanding. If it is possible to tap into drain before you reach the pit than that would be preferable way to go rather than cutting a hole in sewer ejector pit lid. Milo

I was just trying to avoid having to break up the slab to access a pipe.
But I agree,it's a better way to go.

"The Pipe"! And exactly what pipe would that be? If it's the dedicated vent then you can't do that. Dedicated means just that.Could you draw us a diagram? Back to you. Tom

What part of dedicated don't you understand? There's a reason for this.
As your fixtures flush and draion into the pit the pit vent (dedicated) will expel and push sewer gas out into the pit vent but when the pit ejects the discharge it pulls air back into it. You don't want to pull sewer gas back into the house venting system when it's attempting to pull fresh air into the system. Does that make things a little more clear? Tom
