Hi, 3 weeks ago I found out I was preganat, but the problem is I had an IUD. The doctor removed the IUD 4 days ago, and I have yet to have an ultrasound, but I'm wondering what the miscarriage rate is , by having the IUD removed? Does anyone know anything about this?

Has the doctor not giving any advice on this matter the iud has to be removed if you fall pregnant as it can cause miscarriage if left in also preterm birth the chance of miscarriage will go down after the removal but you still run the risk of miscarriage along with every other woman up to the 16 weeks then the risk is halfed I wouldn't worry about it and relax as stress can be a miscarriage factor so relax and take it easy listen to your body sleep if your tired
